Quantifying Biological Age: Blood Test #1 in 2021

Posted by in categories: biotech/medical, life extension

Here’s my latest video!

Results for my first blood test in 2021 are in-what’s my biological age, and how am I optimizing it?

If you’re interested in calculating your biological age, the spreadsheet is included as an Excel file in this link:

    Hi Mike,
Thank you for your videos. Although I doubt that modulating some metrics really makes someone younger, its interesting in which way the diet could affect some parameters.
I have a question. I see that you have 44% of lymphocytes. What are the counts? I have 2.2 103, 35% which is not bad, but isn’t 44% too high?
    Cheers,
    D.

    1. Lymphocyte % declines during aging, so lower levels aren’t desirable. Also, if the 44% is be too high, wouldn’t you expect increased inflammation, or some other adverse biomarker value? My average lymphocyte value since 2015 (n=26) = 1943/microliter blood. I have a video for what’s optimal for lymphocytes:
