Odion Patrick Okougbo

Odion Patrick Okougbo is a Public Health Educator, Science Specialist, and Researcher. He is an Active Contributor and Member of the Program Committee at One Health Lessons. He is also their Ambassador.

He began his career in 2014 as an Administrator at the Osun State Polytechnic Iree Academic Institution and as Public Relations Officer at the National Association of Catholic Corps Members for Boripe Local Government in Osun State. At the same time until 2015, he was also Cadet-in-Chief at the NYSC – Road Safety Community Development Group, Boripe Local Government, Osun State.

He continued as Health Educator on Diseases, Vaccination, Nutrition, and Family Planning at the PK Primary Health Care Centre in Abuja, Nigeria for three years until 2020, when he became Fellow at the African Leadership Institute.

Between 2019 and 2022, Odion was also the Director of the Department of Pedagogy at Fatima Al-Fihri Open University.

Between 2022 and 2023, Odion was a Grant Writer for Community Pet Project Inc., Florida and was Grant Strategist at Science Voices.

He is also a participant of World Futures Day 2024.

Odion earned his Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Microbiology from the University of Abuja in 2013.
