Laercio Henrique
Simões is Founder at HPC Brasil and
Researcher at
Universidade de São Paulo.
Laercio is a serial entrepreneur with more than 20 years of
experience. He has had
an active role in several startups and in helping companies recover
from financial problems.
He received help from experienced entrepreneurs at UNICAMP, FIESP
and CIETEC, which helped him to set up a new international company.
He is working to set up in the international market looking for
opportunities on USA, Latin America, and Europe.
Laercio has been fortunate to be one of the eighty students selected
from
2,000
world-wide applications at Singularity University at NASA Ames, California,
from which he graduated in 2011. At SU, he worked
with the Global Health Team building
a solution to integrate sensor data to improve health care around the
world.
Laercio graduated Singularity University in 2011 and
Universidade de São Paulo in 2008.
